Job Description

Brawn & Brains Coffee is a coffee roaster and a cafe which focuses in serving excellent coffee & customer service.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Baker to join our team baking at our bakery in Geylang. The ideal candidate will have a passion for baking and experience in producing a variety of baked goods, including bread, cakes, and other bakery products.

Responsibilities

  • Plan daily production according to requirements and produce bakery items according to established standards and practices independently
  • Responsible for inventories and stock taking, ensuring that all ingredients and supplies are well-stocked and available for use
  • Facilitate and maintain compliance with all legislative and regulatory requirements, including food safety and hygiene standards
  • Work with a sense of urgency and good time management to meet production deadlines
  • Familiar with commercial baking equipment to fully utilize efficiency and productivity of equipment
  • Maintain a clean and organized bakery, including equipment and general cleaning such as pest control maintenance
  • Plan and forecast for both consumables and non-consumables, ensuring that they are available as required
  • Ensure compliance with regulations and adherence to F&B industry food safety, hygiene standards, and best practices
  • Assist in ad hoc duties as and when required
