Job Description

Position Overview

As the Logistics Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of our supply chain operations. Your responsibilities encompass various areas, including supply chain services, inventory control, material handling, import-export licensing, third-party warehousing, and shipping/receiving activities. Your expertise will contribute to the optimization of logistics plans, budgets, and procedures while meeting customer needs and budget constraints.

Responsibilities

  • Continuously assess, plan, and evaluate warehouse and distribution activities, enhancing work methods, cost-effectiveness, and overall efficiencies.
  • Optimize warehouse layout and material flow to ensure streamlined operational processes.
  • Ensure warehouse operations meet internal and external audit requirements and legislative standards.
  • Collaborate with various departments to align sales demand and inventory forecasts, conducting analyses to maintain optimal stock levels.
  • Oversee cycle count activities and annual stock-take events to ensure accurate inventory management.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and production teams to eliminate material waste and damages, optimizing material utilization.
  • Manage staffing, training, and performance evaluations to cultivate a skilled and motivated logistics team.
  • Promote continuous improvement by coaching and motivating employees.
  • Implement effective inventory control measures to minimize stock variances and discrepancies.

Requirements

  • Minimum Degree in Logistics/Supply Chain Management or related field.
  • Possess at least 10 years of Logistics/Warehouse experience, preferably within the Semiconductor-related industries.
  • Demonstrated track record of ownership and successful delivery of results in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills to effectively coordinate with all levels of the organization.
  • Proficient in evaluating, coaching, and motivating employees to achieve operational excellence.
  • Knowledgeable in MRP, Oracle, and Agile systems for efficient logistics management.
