Job Description

Primary Function/Primary Goals/Objectives
Responsible for the effective scheduling of all Maintenance activities that is line with production schedule and maximizing all available maintenance resources to complete them safely with lowest production interruption.
Major Responsibilities

  • Set up yearly maintenance and projects plan (including downtime budget)
  • Align on yearly plan together with production
  • Uses the planned (Ready) backlog from Planner and available hours provided by the Shift Supervisors to develop the weekly schedule and when necessary, make adjustments to weekly schedule deviations.
  • Discuss and align the maintenance planning with operations at a minimum of once a week.
  • Freeze weekly maintenance plan and communicate to stakeholders
  • Review adherence weekly maintenance plan with stakeholders and reschedule non-adherences accordingly
  • To ensure work order resource allocation in MAXIMO system is accurately reflected
  • To keep equipment maintained with least impact to production uptime
  • Works and align with production scheduler on the shutdown maintenance plan and stewards the progress with stakeholders
  • Weekly / monthly tracking and report on maintenance planning performance metrics
  • Work closely with various stakeholders in a collaborative environment
  • Perform any other business requested by head of department.
  • Any other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Skills/Experience Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of practical operational experience in Pharmaceutical/ Food/ Petrochemical Plant or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Knowledge in Project Management skills.
  • Experience in maintenance planning and execution will be a plus
  • Experience with MAXIMO system.
  • Able to make fast decision, react efficiently to situation and able to work independently.
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels

Education

  • Bachelor Degree in Chemical or mechanical or in related discipline or Diploma with minimum 3 to 5 years of experience.
