Job Summary

• Basic up to $3500 (Depending on experiences) + OT + Group Commission
• 6 Days including Weekends and Public Holiday
• Retails Hours, 8 hours per shift (Including 1 hour break)
• Islandwide (Will try to assign you to the nearest outlet based on your residential address)

Responsibility

• Engage with customers in a friendly and knowledgeable manner to understand their preferences, occasions, and budget.
• Offer personalized wine recommendations based on their tastes, pairing suggestions for specific meals or events, and information about different wine regions, grape varieties, and production methods.
• Upsell by highlighting premium or limited-edition wines, suggesting wine accessories, or recommending wine-related experiences such as vineyard tours or wine tastings.
• Create an inviting and comfortable atmosphere for customers to enjoy wine tastings.
• Present and pour wines using appropriate glassware and serving techniques.
• Educate customers about the wines they are tasting, including the aroma, flavor profile, and any unique characteristics.
• Encourage customers to explore and discuss their impressions, fostering a memorable and enjoyable experience.
• Regularly monitor stock levels and collaborate with the office and warehouse to ensure an adequate supply of wines.
• Coordinate stock requisition, ensuring timely replenishment of popular or seasonal wines.
• Implement an organized system to track inventory, including barcoding, digital tools, or inventory management software.
• Conduct periodic stock audits to identify any discrepancies and reconcile inventory records.
• Maintain a clean and well-organized shop environment, ensuring shelves, displays, and wine racks are tidy and visually appealing.
• Regularly dust and clean wine bottles and merchandise to uphold presentation standards.
• Monitor temperature and humidity levels to ensure wines are stored in optimal conditions.
• Adhere to safety regulations and guidelines, such as proper storage and handling of glassware and cleaning supplies.
