Service Worker at Mini Restaurant

Shop assistance

• Able to open shop in the morning
• Ability to moderate variety of food items and preparations
• Ensure appliances (coffee makers, toasters, waffle makers, soup station, ) and turn them on or off at appropriate times as per SOP
• Follow and ensure safety procedures and compliance policies such as labelling product rotation, first-in/first-out [FIFO], sourcing expiry dates and prioritize urgencies.
• Follow up to date Food Safety Programs within the assigned area of responsibility
• Flexible to work in a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, weekends and holidays
• Able to maintain communication with suppliers and schedules, and maintain par stocks
• Communicate with management on food and product quality or utility maintenance or service requirements
• Complete and retrieve all product requisitions
• Responsible for cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen and customer seating areas such as wiping down tables every morning, chairs, counters and other surfaces in the Café throughout the day
• Replenishing supplies, including silverware, napkins, cups, straws, salt and pepper, to ensure availability for customers
• Provide friendly assistance to the customers and serve customers
• Perform additional tasks in the restaurant when requires
• Assist at the service counter, to get orders
• Able to learn new skills to upgrade skill for career development

Qualification

• Not necessary to have a certificate from higher education /qualification providers.
• Ideal if candidate has SFA -level 1 certificate (if not, we could able to provide this training)
