Position Overview

As a Waiter/Waitress, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring an enjoyable dining experience for CIA’s patrons. You will work closely with the café staff and management to maintain a welcoming atmosphere and contribute to the smooth operation of the Restaurant/Bistro.

Key Responsibilities

• Greeting and seating guests
• Taking orders/Cashiering
• Serving food and beverages to customers
• Upselling dishes and recommending promos
• Anticipating and responding to needs of customers promptly and professionally
• Processing payments
• Maintain the stock service areas with supplies such as condiments and tableware’s
• Maintaining cleanliness of the café
• Following health code standards wit regards to handling of food
• Ensuring the food order is made correctly by kitchen staff and looks presentable for customers
• Clearing tables, sweeping and mopping
• Assist in packing food orders in kitchen for both dine in, online and take-away orders

Requirements

• Proven experience of a minimum 2 years as a waiter/waitress.
• Basic qualifications of N and/or O levels and any relevant certifications.
• Singaporean/PR or Malaysian.
• Pleasant personality and well groomed
• Fluent in English language.
• Pleasant and outgoing personality.
• Strong leadership abilities, with the capacity to motivate and inspire a team.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and delegate tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Solid understanding of food safety and sanitation regulations, ensuring a safe and clean kitchen environment.
• Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills, fostering effective collaboration with the management team, staff and suppliers.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required.
