We are seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to join our team as a Kitchen Assistant Manager at our vibrant restaurant bar. As the Kitchen Assistant Manager, you will work closely with the Head Chef and Operation Manager to ensure smooth kitchen operations, maintain food quality standards, and lead the kitchen team.
- Assist the Head Chef in overseeing and managing daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating.
- Ensure adherence to recipes, portion control, and quality standards.
- Supervise kitchen staff, provide guidance, and assist in training new team members.
- Collaborate with the Head Chef in maintaining inventory levels and coordinating with suppliers for ingredient orders.
- Monitor and enforce food safety and sanitation regulations in the kitchen.
- Support the Head Chef in creating and implementing new menu items and specials.
- Communicate between service team and kitchen team to ensure the smooth operation during busy hours.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Kitchen Assistant Manager or in a similar role in a restaurant or bar setting.
- Solid knowledge of food preparation techniques, kitchen operations, and culinary best practices.
- Fresh diploma graduates or equivalents are welcome.
- Strong leadership, team management and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide kitchen staff effectively.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in English and Chinese (Mandarin) is required.
