Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our finance team as a Finance Intern in a non-profit organization. This internship opportunity is ideal for individuals who are looking to gain practical experience and learn about the financial management of non-profit organization.

The Finance Intern will support the Finance Team in a day-to-day financial operations and will specialize in specific areas of finance such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, income schedule or financial reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Support the finance team with routine accounting procedures such as accounts payable and accounts receivable data entry.
  • Help with the preparation and analysis of the monthly financial reports, including balance sheets and income schedule.
  • Maintain accurate, organized and up-to-date financial records.
  • Support in office administration.

Qualifications

  • Candidates must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Finance, Accounting and or related field.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office, particularly with Excel spreadsheets.
  • A positive, can-do attitude, and a desire to learn and grow in the field of finance.
  • Previous internship or work experience in finance or accounting is a plus.
