Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Attends daily shift briefings to kitchen colleagues
  • Actively shares ideas, opinions & suggestions in daily shift briefings
  • Ensures storeroom requisitions are accurate to minimize repeat visits
  • Performs tasks to the standards & expectations set forth
  • Ensures proper hygiene as per Singapore requirement
  • Completes all grooming, spot check and temperature control sheets as required
  • Maintains cleanliness and proper rotation of product in all chillers
  • Prepares and submits forms and reports on time as directed.
  • Communicates daily with supervisors and ensures open of communication at all platforms
  • Strives to improve EGCC results for Food Quality
  • To support the senior team members in communicating food consistency & quality
  • Daily checks of all mis en place to ensure freshness & quality standard
  • Assigns and follow – up tasks as dictated by business volume and supervisors
  • Attends meetings and training as required by supervisors

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years in relevant experience in the Hotel or related industry
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment
  • Possess a positive attitude and cheerful disposition
  • Able to work rotating shifts including public holidays and weekends
