Job Description


Odette is award-winning Chef-Owner Julien Royer’s first restaurant, located at the iconic National Gallery Singapore. Working with the world’s best boutique producers, Odette serves Modern French cuisine that is guided by Royer’s lifelong respect for seasonality, terroir and artisanal produce sourced from boutique producers around the world. Odette is named in tribute to Royer’s grandmother who taught him how some of the most remarkable dishes can come from the purest ingredients, and believed in ensuring that the fundamental pleasures of enjoying a meal are delivered in the most thoughtful, welcoming and hospitable manner. This ethos has directed every aspect of the Odette experience, harking to a new age in fine dining.

The Odette Restaurant team is looking for a dynamic & creative individual to fill the role of Cook. Pertaining to high standards of personal hygiene and food preparation within the kitchen, we look forward to fill this position with talented personas with an appetite to learn, along with an immense passion in creating remarkable flavours.

Your Responsibilities Include

  • Setting up and stocking up stations with all necessary supplies
  • Preparing food for service (mise-en-place)
  • Cooking menu items
  • Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation within the station and restaurant
  • Executing established procedures in handling inventory

We Are Looking For

  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
  • Experience in using cutting tools, cookware and bakeware
  • Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods (grilling, baking, boiling, etc)
  • Passionate in serving the best cuisine possible
  • Team players in a upbeat, fast-paced working environment
  • Those who are keen to progress their career in fine-dining and French cuisine
