Job Description

If you love great food and coffee and enjoy working in a cafe setting, this is the place for you!

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers in a friendly manner as they enter.
  • Take orders while paying attention to details (e.g preferences of coffee blend, dairy and sugar ratios)
  • Preparing beverages following recipes
  • Provide excellent service experience
  • Ability to gauge customers’ preferences and satisfaction
  • Receive and process cashless payments.
  • Well versed in different types of coffee base on customers preference
  • Prepare and serve a varieties of coffee drinks by following prescribed recipes and techniques.
  • Comply with health and safety regulations
  • Maintain stock of clean mugs and plates
  • Serve food and drinks to customer
  • Address and resolve customer issues in a polite and effective manner; enlist manager or shift supervisor when necessary
  • Keeping the work bar area clean, sanitary, and organized
  • Ensure stock supplies are sufficient and inform management when inventories are low
  • Assist any other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Manager

Requirements

  • Previous work experience as a Barista or Waiter/Waitress preferred
  • Hands-on experience with brewing equipment
  • Positive, friendly, knowledgeable, and polite
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Team Player
  • Flexibility to work various timing
  • 6 days’ work week and able to work on weekends & public holidays
