About Our Client

Our client is a leading multinational media company that publishes business magazine, online medias, and puts together compelling events. With global HQ in the US, and regional offices in Asia, they are now setting up a Sales Office in Singapore, starting with hiring a Media Sales Manager who will develop new business in APAC.

Job Description

  • Studies and understands all products and services being offered by the company.
  • Work with sales management to build and manage sales presentations and integrated programs to take to market.
  • Expands client base through new leads, cold calls, existing relationships or other means.
  • Develop strategy and activation plans for media packages – whether its magazine, online, digital app or events.
  • Grows and improves share-of-market and revenue for the brand in Asia Pacific- across all platforms.
  • Own and exceed annual sales target within assigned territory and accounts
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships – both in agencies and client side, through understanding clients’ business needs and objectives to develop media campaigns and execute across multiple media platforms.
  • Collaborate with the rest of the sales team in Asia to ensure effective partnerships.

The Successful Applicant

  • Digital fluency is a must and proven sales experience in selling across platforms especially events is a big plus.
  • Ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level
  • Proven ability to drive sales from pitching to closing
  • Proactive, innovative thinker and team player
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills to convince senior leaderships
