Job Description

This role is responsible for supporting various digital marketing assignments, including website management, SEO, social media marketing and community management for the organization’s owned social media channels such as LinkedIn, YouTube, WeChat, and internal communications. Key aspects of the role will include managing functionality of the website, implementation of SEO strategy, and day-to-day operation of the brand’s in-market social media channels across the major platforms.

Markets of focus will be Singapore/global, Southeast Asia and China.

As the Digital Marketing Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Website management and digital marketing
  • Create and implement appropriate strategies to grow site visibility, measured with web traffic metrics
  • Ensure the website remains fully compliant with laws and regulations in all appropriate territories
  • Managing site design and development to deliver a high quality UX
  • Develop and maintenance of campaign pages
  • Develop a customer-centric web content strategy

Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)

  • Set and execute strategies to improve the organic rankings and search traffic
  • Onsite optimization related to page titles, URLs, redirects, internal link structures, SEO copy editing, sitemaps review/maintenance
  • Keyword research to identify and discover new targeting keywords and explore content strategy
  • Leverage SEO tactics to identify market trends and opportunities to create exposure and drive demand online
  • Monitor, track, and analyse ranking performance on ongoing basis, and optimize SEO/SEM campaigns as necessary
  • Manage & report SEO performance and optimization efforts on an ongoing basis
  • Determine the biggest opportunities for content marketing; define pillar and cluster topics for website taxonomy
  • Social Media
  • Management of social media communities through use of a social media management tool
  • Ensuring consistency in messaging across organic, paid and boosted activity
  • Maintaining & updating the social media editorial and content calendar
  • Development of social media content to adhere to social media channel best practices
  • Activating social media campaigns/ content
  • Support business development and sales teams to develop strategic and tactical content
  • Social media crisis management and tracking and escalation of reputational threats
  • Participate in project briefings, liaise as needed for social media channels.
  • Keeping up with platform and community trends to develop recommendations for optimization

Beyond the listed responsibilities and activities, this role requires a good understanding of digital marketing campaigns and social media’s functions in the wider multichannel environment. Collaboration with CRM and other marketing teams is imperative to create industry-leading customer and employee experiences across all touchpoints.

Requirements

  • 4 to 5 years minimum experience working in digital marketing, social media or similar field
  • 3 years minimum in managing social media communities and producing social media assets
  • Familiarity in using social media management tools
  • Strong ability to interpret social media analytics outputs
  • Understanding of local social media laws and regulations
  • In-depth knowledge of tools such as SEMrush, AHREFS, Google Analytics, Google Tag, Google Search Console, Data Studio etc
  • Comprehensive technical knowledge of both on-page and off-page best practices
  • Experience setting up, optimizing, and creating internal site search strategy
  • Understanding of HTML, CSS and Drupal is beneficial
  • Experience in the B2B technology industry
