Job Description

Job Description

  • Ensures efficient and effective operations under the Front Office department.
  • Assists to evaluate and improves the performance of the team with continuous training.
  • Ensures that Policies and Procedures are consistently complied with throughout the department.
  • Meets with Managers/Supervisors on a daily basis forcritical issues identification.
  • Monitors monthly Profit & Loss statement to ensure cost containment and expense control.
  • Assists the Front Office Manager in all aspects of his duties.
  • In-charge of efficient work and vacation schedule planning for Front Office team.
  • Provides feedback to the General Manager upon receiving feedback from guests on their preference and dislikes.
  • Assists in conducting of annual performance appraisal for the Front Office team.
  • Initiates cross training and multi skilling plans to equip staff with cross-exposure experience and work knowledge.
  • Other ad-hoc duties as and when assigned by the Management

Job Requirements

  • ‘O’ Levels, Diploma in Tourism Studies
  • At least 3-5 years in a similar position, preferably under Hotel’s Rooms Division
  • Possesses a friendly and confident personality
  • Excellent knowledge on PMS Opera system
  • Prior knowledge on handling difficult situations professionally preferred
  • Certified in fire evacuation and emergency procedures is a plus
