Position:Admin Assistant - Punggol
Job Function:Administrative

Job Description

Contract Period: 31/07/23 to 31/12/23 with option to extend for 1 year

Working Hours

  • Mondays to Thursdays: 7.30 am to 5.00 pm, inclusive of 1 hr lunch break
  • Fridays: 7.30 am to 4.30 pm, inclusive of 1 hr lunch break
  • Service are not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays

Scope Of Services

  • Attend to phone calls and walk-in enquiries
  • Maintain registry of all incoming & outgoing mails
  • Accept mails/goods on behalf of school and ensure prompt routing to the staff in-charge
  • Printing jobs and issuing of stationery to staff & students; maintain stock of office stationery
  • Attend to students matters including unwell cases, lost & found etc
  • Clerical duties such as survey collation, data entry, filing, minutes-writing etc
  • Any other duties as assigned by the school


Candidate to be deployed either at school’s General Office or at school’s MOE kindergarten

Qualification, Skill & Experience

  • Full GCE O level or A level certificate or its equivalent
  • Good communication and inter-personal skills
  • Good team player who is resourceful and has a high level of initiative
  • Meticulous and detailed in carrying out tasks
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Possess initiative and resourcefulness to handle challenging situations
  • Knowledge of first-aid is preferred

At least 2 years of experience working in a school or related environment
